Slaven Tolj mounted this performance during the Body and the East festival at New York’s Exit Art Gallery. In it, he drank a “toxically global” East-West cocktail made of vodka and whisky until he collapsed and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he spent several days in a coma and subsequently underwent a cathartic experience.
