“Today’s transparency generates fog”
As a dramaturge and a founding member of the recently dissolved performance collective BADco, Goran Sergej Pristaš was one of the internationally significant voices of postdramatic theater. And today, as an influential advisor to the new city government of Zagreb, he works in a place whose pragmatic politics—with all of its possibilities and limitations—is in need of reform. At the same time, he and his new company CO2 seek to pursue research and experimentation both onstage and in other public contexts with regard to just what “Practicing the Impossible” could mean today.
