What Do I Know
/12
Šejla Kamerić’s work "What do I know" is a 23-minute four-channel film installation. The film tells the story of the time as Kamerić’s grandparents were still young. The film was shot in the house of her grandfather in Sarajevo. Her grandparents owned a café on the ground floor in a flat upstairs. Although the house is not inhabited at the moment, the furniture, wall paper, dishes and the other household items transport the visitors into the 1950s. Close-up shots and slow camera pans are accompanied by piano music. A.B.
