Edward Krasiński’s work at the turn of the 1960s and 70s is neither exactly minimalist nor properly conceptual. Suspended and linear, his svelte sculptures are flawed by the use of colour. Found objects are combined with fragile common materials such as wires and strings. The work’s apparently clear geometric "cut" is a mere cheat. A.S.
