This film is both autobiographical and of a symbolic, dream-like character. It begins with footage of diary entries, after which a female figure (Scheirl), often visible just as a silhouette, is seen moving through an archaic-seeming southern landscape; outdoor scenes alternate with interiors, and scenes from feature films with female protagonists are sporadically interjected. The film concludes with the protagonist diving into a swimming pool. S.E.
