This performative work for the camera could be ironically translated as “pornography for the mouth”, but the artist prefers to adhere to another interpretation: “spring of lust”—which the resulting photo sequence is intended to represent. Jascha’s gestures refute any aesthetic preconceptions. The deformed mouth as an orifice might refer to sexual connotations of the body, but it simultaneously shows how performance art can express divergent takes on the biologically or physically determined.
