“Letters From Brno” presents poems contained in pieces of mail sent by Jiří Valoch to his acquaintance, the editor and publisher Charles Verey, between 1964 and 1968. These poems, put to paper using a typewriter, contain letters configured into optical poems and formally abstract linguistic utterances along with their corresponding responses. J.P.
