In a manner customary in fruit-farming, I grafted a branch taken from a shrub to my arm. P.Š.
This extreme performance was conducted with Jan Mlčoch’s assistance in a deserted home on Kosárkovo Embankment. He stuck a twig into his right forearm and left it the whole afternoon joined with his body, until he ended up in the emergency room with blood poisoning. Nature was for Štembera at this time a symbol of the external world.
