In keeping with Denisa Lehocká’s artistic practice, “Untitled” is part of a larger body of work, a trace in an open system of ongoing recordings of her experience and observations. The work seems like an “entry” in a series of registrations of the momentary state of things examined via introspection and the strictly personal references of the artist. “Untitled” is a complex, interconnected system of objects and interventions in space that references the conceptual artistic tradition. A table and chairs, however oddly arranged, set up an axis of familiarity and intimacy, easing our access to the whole. They are concurrently defined as the main platforms supporting other installation elements, as such delineating proximities and relationships within this structured entity. “Untitled” could be considered an unobtrusive proposal to look at what’s around us in the sense of personalized topography and poetic possibilities.
