This film’s title references the famed next-to-last Austrian Emperor’s signature way of saying, “Thank you, it’s been very nice, it was a pleasure!” One sees Mara Mattuschka’s alter ego Mimi Minus engage in autoerotic activity while the camera distances itself in leaps and bounds, continuing until Mimi’s white figure is tiny and eventually disappears into the glaring, high-contrast, mountainous outdoor scenery. The most visible elements of the naked Mimi Minus are her black sunglasses, her hair, her lipstick, and the shadows around her eyes. Against the backdrop of an indistinct landscape, Mimi Minus begins by spreading out a large towel, after which she lies down, spreads her legs, and moves her hand down to her public hair in order to masturbate. At the conclusion of this two-minute film, her head comes into view again, its facial features exhausted, while an offscreen voice utters: “Thank you, it was a pleasure!” W.S.
