The media library with nearly 200 works of video art and experimental film constitutes a crucial component of the Kontakt collection, probing the technical parameters of the respective medium.The library contains works that reveal modernist and neo-avant-garde strategies on a conceptual, performative, political or gender-emancipatory level. Key works by Geta Brătescu, Stuart Brisley, Anna Daučíková, VALIE EXPORT, Tomislav Gotovac, Ion Grigorescu, Friedl vom Gröller, Tibor Hajas, Sanja Iveković, KwieKulik, Natalia LL, Dalibor Martinis, Paul Neagu, Neša Paripović, Józef Robakowski, Hans Scheirl, Tamás St. Auby, Raša Todosijević, Peter Weibel and Želimir Žilnik are represented on equal footing with contemporary productions by artists such as Paweł Althamer, Maja Bajević, Pavel Brăila, Carola Dertnig, Igor Grubić, Gržinić/Šmid, Anna Jermolaewa, Heidrun Holzfeind, Dorit Margreiter, Roman Ondak, Roman Stańczak, Vǎtǎmanu/Tudor, Artur Żmijewski and others.
