Film Message was an assembled film initiated by Tomasz Sikorski of P.O. Box 17 Gallery, to which he invited eleven artists to make films on any subject. Each participant had sixty meters of 16 mm film at his or her disposal, which provided a great deal of creative freedom, allowing the artists to pursue their individual fascinations. In the end, four short films were created and edited in alphabetical order. Film Message consists of the autothematic film Brzechwa by Janusz Bałdyga, Jerzy Onuch, and Łukasz Szajna about the creative process, the observational documentary The Crossing by Marek Ławrynowicz, the conceptual experiment Zapis IX, krzyżek /3/ by Tomasz Sikorski, and the critical Analiza II by Janusz Szczerek.
